The unknown wreck identified

We told about the unknown wreck that was found south of Holmöarna during sea survey last week. It was speculated that it was the ship Dodona that sank in 1913. Now divers have identified the ship as the steamship ship Annie which ran aground at Södra Storgrund east of Ängesön and sank during towing towards Holmsund in July 1891. The wreck is thus even older than Dodona.
