This year it is 200 years since the pilot operation at Bjuröklubb outside Skellefteå started. We celebrate this for the rest of the summer. On Wednesday, August 4, the starting shot for the celebration went with Pilot's Day.
The whole event was well attended and appreciated. During the day, it is estimated that about 500 people have visited the celebration of the pilot activities and nearby sights.
Visitors could also see Noak Larsson's more than 100-year-old pilot boat Brus, which he refurbished together with Andreas Lundberg. Noak also offered interested parties a historical look back at the pilotage at Bjuröklubb with the tour "Pilot's walk".
