Sanding, dry scraping, blasting with sand or carbon dioxide and gel treatment with a scraper. These are the methods that are highlighted in a new recommendation for decontamination of primers, by the Swedish Transport Agency, among others.
"If you follow it, the risk of spreading dangerous substances around you during decontamination is very small," says environmental officer Lina Petersson.
