Exhaust gases from leisure boats leave traces in the Bohuslän archipelago

The intensive leisure boat traffic in Bohuslän leaves clear traces in bottom sediments, mussels and oysters, according to a newly published research report from the Institute of Marine Environment. The report is unique, as it is the first time that it has been investigated to what extent exhaust gases from recreational boat traffic are stored in bottom sediments and aquatic organisms.
