The ferry - infrastructure or means of transport?
The Ministry of Infrastructure and the Swedish Archipelago Association (SRF) take the initiative to create a meeting place or a network together with NOD where the various organizations representing the actors that provide transport infrastructure and perform transport services to Sweden's islands, to discuss transport policy goals and means.
The purpose of NOD is to facilitate collaboration between public actors and civil society, and to provide meeting places to promote dialogue. NOD spans all policy areas and works to facilitate meetings.
NOD uses various methods of collaboration to bring public actors and civil society together. On certain issues, for example, roundtable discussions and consultations are arranged, while in other contexts learning networks are arranged. In addition to national authorities, the talks can take place with Sweden's Municipalities and Regions (SKR) and other actors that operate at local / regional level and aim at mutual exchange of information, knowledge building and identification of possible collaboration needs.
A first meeting with NOD to discuss the plan will take place on 11 April.
