The National Association of Archipelagos, through SydostLeader, has implemented a project with the aim of investigating how regulatory simplification can contribute to strengthening small-scale commercial fishing. Through surveys, site visits and interviews in our neighboring countries, the project has collected examples of how simpler rules from authorities as well as other initiatives can facilitate the survival of small-scale fishing. The project also includes a combined description of the Swedish fishing regulations compiled by SLUA Aqua.
