Ulf Bertilsson, director of the film about Nille on Ringsö, says that the film about Nille has attracted a lot of audiences since the premiere in Nyköping, Eskilstuna and Stockholm on November 10. In many cases, there have been sold-out performances.

"Nille Kjellberg left Stockholm and her career behind. In the Sörmland archipelago, he found a different way of living. In harmony with nature and the changes of the seasons. Without thoughts of status, gadgets or what others will say. In the summers, he gets help with the ground service for the immensely popular touring rides on Icelandic horses from his 94-year-old mother Ditte. In the winter - then he lives alone on his deserted island," writes Ulf Bertilsson in an email.

For us in the National Association of Archipelagos, Nille is the eloquent, well-read and committed chairman of our member association Sörmland's Archipelago Interest Association. Whose everyday life we have heard about before but which we can now see with our own eyes.

On Friday 24 November, the film was also shown in the coastal towns of Härnösand, Norrtälje and Västervik. Hopefully the film will be shown in additional cinemas.

You have submitted the film to Guldbaggen, so that it can be nominated as best documentary film.
