Report from SRF's Annual General Meeting

The annual general meeting was held digitally on February 19 from 13 pm to 17 pm. The meeting began with some information points before the actual meeting.

It all started with a presentation round with the approx. 35 participants. Afterwards, Paulina Rytkönen from Södertörn University gave a talk about the research on islands and living and entrepreneurship on islands that is led from Södertörn University in collaboration with SRF, BSR and SIKO. A report on that research will be published here on the SRF website shortly. This was followed by short reports from SRF's working groups.

Then there was a break.

After the break, the board presented a number of information points about, among other things,

● Year wheel, job description and business plan 2023
● Youth camp 2023
● The Samsö project-Education on sustainable environmental and energy infrastructure
on islands
● The pleasure trip
● The annual report

The general meeting proceedings then began. Ulf Westerberg was elected as meeting chairman and Joar Sandström as meeting secretary. Berit Gullbrannsson and Olle Nygren were elected adjusters. The activity report and the audit report were preferred. The meeting decided to determine the profit and loss account and the balance sheet and to adopt the proposal for allocation of profit. The meeting granted the board discharge from liability. The business plan was presented and the meeting decided to adopt the plan. Proposals for fees for board members were preferred by the nomination committee and adopted by the general meeting. The nomination committee's proposal to establish a remuneration committee was referred to the new board to work with. The nomination committee proposed the re-election of all members who were in turn to resign. The meeting voted according to the election committee's proposal. The selection committee was re-elected. No other questions.
