There were about 20 participants at the workshop from various islands including Gotland, Orust, Holmön, Vinön, Visingsö, Samsö, as well as islands in Latvia, Estonia and Ireland.
The meeting started with Martina Cannata from the CE4EUI secretariat welcoming everyone and then introducing those who would lead this workshop. It was Frans Sjölander and Maria Sköld from Stockholm Environmental Institute (SEI) and Søren Hermansen and Alexis Chatzimpiros from Samsø Energi Academi (SEA).
Søren began by presenting SEA and their work at Samsø. He continued with a process description for how the day's work would be carried out.
