Bird flu in swans

A swan that was found sick in the lagoon in Gränna by private individuals during the holidays in 2021 has been found to be infected with bird flu. The sick swan was noticed in a local Facebook group and has received unusually much attention. - It is not unusual to find dead and sick birds in the winter, says Marie-Louise Sjöberg, county veterinarian at the County Administrative Board in Jönköping County.
