In many parts of the Luleå archipelago today, there is a lack of mobile coverage or capacity. For many who are residents, or have holiday homes in the archipelago, this means that they can not call or use the internet to contact the outside world, work, study, handle banking matters or have contacts with the health service.
Luleå University of Technology coordinates the project # Full coverage where about 30 actors work together to solve the societal challenge of creating mobile coverage where today it is difficult to call or use the internet.
