On World Ocean Day, the June 8 at 13: 00-15: 00, Sweden launches to draw attention to the UN's decade for marine research 2021-2030. Participating are Crown Princess Victoria, Minister of the Environment and Climate and Deputy Prime Minister Per Bolund, and Minister of Research Matilda Ernkrans.
The day offers initiated conversations with leading experts. Among other things, the directors general of SMHI, Formas and the Swedish Maritime Administration will talk about the four priority areas for Sweden during the decade; ecosystem-based marine management, marine awareness, data and innovations.
